Mr. Andrew J. Mills

Mr. Andrew J. Mills was recently promoted to serve in the capacity of Assistant Principal for Harvest Preparatory School, serving the students and faculty of grades 7-12. Mr. Mills has served on the Harvest Preparatory School administrative and faculty teams for nine years in various positions. In addition to serving as the Student Affairs Coordinator and Senior Class Advisor, he most recently served as the Upper School Social Studies Department Chair. As a teacher, Mr. Mills was responsible for teaching courses with concentrations in World Studies, American History, Government and Economics. In addition, Mr. Mills established an inaugural social studies elective course entitled, “History of the Holocaust,” for upperclassmen.

Mr. Mills served on active duty and in the reserve component of the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Electrical and Environmental Systems Specialist for KC-135’s and C-130J model airframes. He was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base (San Antonio, Texas), Sheppard Air Force Base (Wichita Falls, Texas), Royal Air Force Mildenhall (United Kingdom), Keesler Air Force Base (Biloxi, Mississippi), and most recently at Grissom Air Reserve Base (Peru, Indiana). As an airman, Mr. Mills earned the recognition of being named to the “Quality Assurance Honor Roll” for his flawless executions during evaluations and inspections.

As a strong advocate of higher education, he holds three college degrees, two in education from Liberty University’s School of Education, and one in aviation maintenance technology from the Community College of the Air Force. Mr. Mills is currently working on a fourth degree, in the education field.

Mr. Mills is a member of World Harvest Church, where he has attended with his family for 31 years.
