Harvest Preparatory School, a diverse preschool through 12th grade campus in Central Ohio,

World Harvest Church.

Harvest Preparatory School Administrative Asssitant
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the main phone line for the entire school building – answer phone in a prompt and professional manner. Understand the functions of other offices and departments.
- Provide superior customer service and appropriate solutions to questions or concerns.
- Work with the Attendance Coordinator to manage teacher absences in Paychex app.
- Approve timecards through Paychex app before each pay period.
- Submit Building Requests and Audio Requests from the administrators in a timely manner.
- Submit maintenance work orders through the BigFoot system in a timely manner.
- Receive and process Field Trip Requests from teachers with the Facilities Department.
- Manage office supplies inventory and copy room; order copy/printer paper from the ministry Warehouse.
- Order supply items as requested by the administration or teachers through Amazon.
- Manage facilities supplies inventory (ie. trash bags, cleaning products) and place orders accordingly.
- Manage inventory of all printed materials (ie. hallway passes, incident reports, letterhead, etc.)
- Process Minor Student Work Permit Applications.
- Have experience operating basic office equipment – computer, printer, phone, intercom system.
- Possess strong knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Systems (Word, Excel) and the Google platform.
- Learn and quickly assimilate into the FACTS Student Information Systems.
- Manage the counts for all emergency drills.
- Maintain appearance and cleanliness of the attendance office, storage room, and teacher’s lounge.
- Train and oversee Attendance Office Student Services Workers; monitor attendance and accountability.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Head of School.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
Harvest Preparatory School - Bus Driver / Special School Events
World Harvest Church, a global ministry in Central Ohio, has an exciting opportunity for experienced bus drivers that desire to use their talent to impact the world. World Harvest Church is one of today’s most influential churches, led by statesman, humanitarian and New York Times best–selling author, Pastor Rod Parsley. This ministry with its world–wide platform is affecting every strata of society spiritually, educationally, economically and culturally through the expanse of the Breakthrough television program which airs 24 hours a day/ 7days a week on major TV stations and affiliates. The Bus Driver opening is an as needed part–time casual position. The ideal candidate must have a successful and verifiable work history of at least 2–3 years in the area of transportation.
Primary Responsibilities
Bus drivers to provide transportation with school–related activities, i.e. field trips, sporting events, etc. throughout the Columbus Metro area.
Adhere to all Federal regulations and to all additional State of Ohio requirements.
Preserve order on the bus and enforce school safety regulations, permitting only those authorized to ride.
Provide transportation for special church events.
Primary Qualifications
The driver must be at least 21 and have at least a class B CDL with a passenger and school bus endorsement and authorized to work in the United States.
2–3 years minimum experience with public or private bus transportation and must be extremely safety–conscious.
Valid Ohio driver’s license with a good driving record and be insurable.
Must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2–3 years of a verifiable .employment history with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and written for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.
Must successfully pass a BCI/FBI background check.
First Aid/CPR certified a plus.
Willing to work any day of the week including weekends.

Harvest Preparatory School - Substitute Teachers
Harvest Preparatory School one of Central Ohio’s premier, private, Christian centered schools, located in Canal Winchester, Ohio has Substitute Teacher openings. Harvest Preparatory School provides distinctive, private education, with a Christian world-view focus, to the Columbus area. With a diverse student body, Harvest Prep comprises of over 500 plus students, grades Pre-K through 12 that are developed academically, spiritually, morally, socially and physically through the power of God and our highly trained faculty and staff.
Substitute Teacher Responsibilities
- Be a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions toward others and develop and maintain rapport with students, parents, and staff by treating others with friendliness, dignity, and consideration.
- Demonstrate excellent teaching skills, effective written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, administrative skills, problem-solving skills, and advanced knowledge of various teaching materials.
- In the absence of the regular classroom teacher to help students to learn subject matter and/or skills that are required for scheduled lessons and to provide meaningful instruction for assigned classrooms.
- Carries out a program of study prescribed in the lesson plans left by the classroom teacher and has the ability to provide meaningful learning in the absence of a lesson plan.
- Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students. Indicates to students at beginning of class the basic expectations for behavior in the class in accordance with school policies.
- Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and objectives as indicated in the lesson plans for the lessons, units, or projects assigned.
- Reports to school office at beginning of school day to pick up required materials/schedule of classes and at the end of the school day to return materials. Follows sign out procedures as prescribed by the principal.
- Employs instructional methods and materials that are most appropriate for meeting lesson objectives.
- Maintains a neat, orderly and safe classroom.
- Takes attendance in accordance with school procedures.
- Insures that the students are never left unattended in the classroom.
- May perform duties usually required of absent teacher such as lunchroom duty, hall monitoring, etc.
- Knows emergency evacuation routes for the classrooms assigned.
- Knows procedures for referring students who are disciplinary problems.
- Knows school procedures and regulations and consistently follows HPS policies.
Primary Requirements
- Performs other related duties as directed.
- Two or more years of teaching experience, and be highly knowledgeable about teaching students about content and skills in the applicable subject area.
- Must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
- Hold a current teacher license in the State of Ohio and or be eligible to hold a teaching certificate/Non-tax certificate issued by the Ohio Department of Education.

Harvest Preparatory School Upper School Financial Teacher (Grades 9-12) - Immediate Opening
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Education.
Hold a valid Ohio teaching license or certificate.
Preferably have at least 3 years of classroom teaching at the high school level.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assume a share of supervisory responsibilities expected of all Upper School Faculty members.
- Collaborate with team members on curriculum design and development on lesson planning and regularly analyze student data to accommodate individual student needs to form instruction.
- Teach classes as assigned following prescribed scope and sequence as scheduled by the administration.
- Utilize valid teaching techniques to achieve curriculum goals within the framework of the school’s philosophy and incorporating all prescribed Ohio Academic Content Standards.
- Plan broadly through the use of semester and quarterly plans and objectives and ensure that daily lesson plans are properly posted in RenWeb FACTS.
- Employ a variety of instructional aids and technological resources as well as methods and materials that will provide for the creative teaching to reach the whole child: spiritual, mental, physical, social and emotional.
- Integrate technology into lesson plans in compliance with the expectation outlined by the administration.
- Provide periodic updates to parents/guardians about student progress via both written reports and in-person conferences.
- Maintain regular and prompt attendance and grade records in RenWeb FACTS. Keep students, parents/guardians, and administration informed of progress or deficiencies.
- Create a positive and safe learning environment for all students and hold students accountable for conduct.
- Possess effective interpersonal skills and administrative skills; be a problem solver and be able to think outside the box.
- Work with others in the school community to support each student’s emotional well-being.
- Utilize effective and professional oral and written communication skills.
- Maintain professional development as a licensed educator; glean from experience and ideas of peer teachers.
- Attend all school staff meetings and scheduled professional development sessions and workshops.
- Other duties as assigned by the Head of Upper School.
